I like. More please! Winter's Tale makes me :) :) :).
Reviewer: MP SignedWow. GREAT chapter! I'd forgotten just how well you write angst! I'm on the edge of my seat!
Reviewer: MP SignedYay for the new chap!
You've outdone yourself this time. I can't wait to see where the story goes! It's nice to have Sydney back in action, even if it does mean things are about to get bad for Jarod. I can't wait to see what Parker's going to do about all this.
You'll notice I've said "can't wait" twice in one review. There is a subliminal message in this somewhere;) Anyway, thanx for another great chapter!
Reviewer: MP SignedWhat I think . . . Hmmm . . . How about WOW! This is one of your best chapters thus far, and the best writing I've read in some time. I was (still am) on the edge of my seat for the entire thing. Can't wait to see where this is going. Beautiful writing, as usual. More soon? Pretty please with sugar on top?
Reviewer: MP SignedGasp! Sputter, sputter . . .
Awesome chap! The Parker fight scene was amazing--the way you tied in snippets of flashbacks. It was so artistic and surreal. And the flashback with Margaret . . . wow, didn't see that coming. Great development, can't wait for the next chap!
Splutter? Like to read stuff like that. ;-) I reached my goal. YAY. Thanks so much for the review. Appreciate it.
Reviewer: MP SignedMy jaw is hanging through the floor right now.
Every time I tell myself there's no way you could *possibly* top your last chapter, you go and write something like this and I have to reset my whole scale. Seriously, this may be the best chapter I've ever read on Missing Pieces. Of course, I'm biased towards action sequences, but this still stands out. The pacing, the dialogue, the characterizations, the imagery--it's hard to find fault with anything. I especially loved the surreal quality at the end.
Updates soon? You're killing me here!
Reviewer: MP SignedWhoa!
Well, you've done it again, Whashaza. Somehow, no matter how dark and grim and hopeless your stories get, I gobble them up like candy. Maybe I'm addicted.
Or maybe it's your writing style. Always tense, always moving, always keeping me on the edge of my seat and yet finding beauty in the darkest moments. Your characterizations, as usual, were spot on. I particularly liked the little Sydney bit.
"It was time for him to do something. Now he just had to figure out what."
Typical Syd, the poor fool, gotta love him. The Margaret story line is coming together in a very intriguing way. When I read the last line, my heart skipped a beat or two.
Great job, and please don't leave us in the dark (get it?) for too long!
I laughed. Hard. My roommates stared at me and I couldn't tell them why. Yours is a dark gift.
Reviewer: MP SignedWhat price will someone pay for what they want?
Oh, that's great! I loved this chapter from the moment I read the title. Poor wittle Bobby's not gonna be happy. Can't wait to see where you take this next.
Reviewer: MP SignedKyyye, oh Kyyyyye? Is there any more to this story?
Author's Response: hey, yes sorry, i forgot all about rep on mp lol, my bad. i will try my hardest to get them all up for you and glad you like enough to annoy me
:) Thanks for the chap!
Poor Jarod! To quote someone (maybe Blademistress?) "Jarod needs a hug. Not that we'd give him one. After all, he does hurt so pretty."
Is that Matthews guy going to enter into future chapters? It'd be interesting to see what he's been doing for the last few decades and how grown-up Jarod might react too him . . .
Thanks mp! lol i like that quote, and he does indeed hurt so pretty lmao.
I never actually thought about brining Mathews in later, since he did give poor Jarod a hard time, so I will think about it and see what you think later when you see hwo the story progresses. But thank you for giving me the fresh 'lead' if i need it
Reviewer: MP SignedWow!!! I . . . (sputter, sputter) . . . WOW!
A whole chap of excellent writing, and then you leave us with a cliff hanger! Meanie! I just hope there's more on the way. Preferably soon. (fidgets) Very, very soon . . .
This is a beautiful little story. Very emotional.
Reviewer: MP SignedThat was beautiful, Sarah! Oh thanks Brennan, glad you liked it. This was actually my very first fanfic, and looking back on it now, I actually don't hate it. Which is a little surprising, but great. So thanks ofr the walk down memory lane, and the lovely review.
Author's Response:
Jarod's a prisoner of The Triumvirate. This is the sequel to Conflict Zero.
Whoa . . .
This one was definitely worth the wait. I love how you showed almost all the characters--tensions mounting, plots going awry on both sides of the Atlantic. You gave us great emotional analysis of both Parker and Jarod. I loved the Carthis flashback. (Been too long since I've seen IotH, was that canon or a "missing scene"? Either way, it was perfectly executed). Also, great climax to months of speculation over Visser.
Sooo . . . next chap? I know RL can be crazy, but hopefully you can find the time.
Great chapter! Worth the wait!
I especially loved the Parker/Lyle scene at the end. The tension is to die for . . .
My only suggestion is give the chap a title.
hahahaha.. it's been so long since i posted, i forgot to do one key step hey? Thanks.. i'm glad you enjoyed. Maybe you can give us a taste of your next chappie?? Eye for an eye??? ;)
Hope this school semester is treating you well.

Reviewer: MP SignedJarod is captured and returned to the Centre. Part of the Guess Who/Guess What Challenge
I love it. It was worth the wait. The J/MP dynamics were especially good in this one. Keep writing!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed.. and i am doing just that.. writing.. although the african saga is winning the fight for control of the muse at this instant in time

Reviewer: MP SignedVery exciting story. You certainly kept me reading. Parker's character was spot on; she had all the fire we love to see in her, and you also brought some new insights to her character. I loved the repeated references to her hating what she'd become. The ending seemed a bit abrupt, but I understand why you did it that way. The last line said it all.
I know you write for other fandoms. Is there by any chance one website with links to all your work? I'd be very interested in reading more.
Reviewer: MP SignedI don't know you, but I do indeed love you for writing this fic. You capture the sort of "death-bed drama" very well. The only thing I would caution you on if you do more chapters is to not make Jarod's emotional recovery too . . . sudden. Yeah, falling in love is great, but people who attempt suicide have problems that take a bit longer to heal.
Great writing! I love the emotion.
I'm not a first name fan either, but this works much, MUCH better than any other name I've come across. The entire story is excellent. I know a writer is talented when they can take a premise I don't like (i.e. Parker's name) and write a story I do like.
Reviewer: MP SignedI love this story. I'm addicted in the worst way. I prostrate myself before Kat the Powerful and beg of her to please, pretty please with optimized nutitional supplement on top, post the next chapter.
Author's Response: YAAAAAAAAY New review!!! THANKS!!!
*grins* There is nothing wrong with being addicted, hee hee.
Begging has done the trik, I will post the new chapter after its final once over for any mistakes. You shouldn't have to wait too much longer, MP.
Excellent chapter. Parker was perfect, Kainda was intriguing, and Cox was . . . creepy. Which means he was characterized correctly. Lots of Centre intrigue . . . I love Centre intrigue!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review MP. I'm glad you liked it... and big yay you for being the first to review this chap. Cox is always creepy, that's what makes him so much fun to play with *grins* There is lots of intrigue in this story... and secrets. All the Centre goodness!
Keep up with the R&R!!!!
Great chapter. Cox as a surrogate daddy . . . I was not expecting that, but it works great! Kainda is fascinating.
Author's Response:
I'm steadily building on Kainda's character, to keep her fascinating *grins*
Thanks for another review, MP. Glad to know you're still enjoying the story this much!
Reviewer: MP SignedOkay, time for a cold shower:)
Great writing. I'm surprised (and a little disturbed) at how easily I find myself accepting this dark relationship between them. I know that can only be due to the detail you put into this. You created a mood by playing off of the darker elements in both their characters, but then you surprise the audience with little acts of tenderness, like the description of him stroking her hand the next morning. (love that description!) Overall, great chapter. You'll be happy to know that you made great strides in converting another reluctant Twincest-er to the dark side.
