I really liked your story. It was very sad in some parts. You had me in tears at some points. I don't remember the last time a written story did this to me.
I really felt for MP when Jarod kept the child from her.
Sweet ending.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I know how to review your story. Parts of it I really liked, parts I didn't care for. At times your characters were in true form and other times...well not so much.
It took me several attempts to get past the first part. I'm not fond of the Rachel character and didn't care for the Profiler show at all. I thought it was too violent esp. where women were concerned. However I thought you did a good job re: the cross-over. It's tough doing a cross-over and I thought you did very well with the Rachel character. Nice work there.
You have lots of agony and twists and turns. I did get thrown when I transitioned from chapter 11 to chapter 12. I thought I had miss a chapter. I have to say I liked your other story much better but this one was worth reading. Hope to see more of you.
Editted to add: I hope you don't feel I was too harsh on you. It is afterall your story and your 'reality'. Just as we agree to accept the play writer's or the movie/TV creator's sense of reality, we as readers should be willing to accept the fan fic writer's sense of reality. You write well and I do enjoy your stories. I just had a hard time with this one. Also just so you know because it does make me bias, I don't care for fan fic where Miss Parker is pregnant or a mommy. I just don't see her as a mother-type.

And I know, a lot of readers must have read the first chapter and stopped. I for one, have done that when reading other fics. So, thank you very much.
Thank you for the complient. I do write a lot of "angst" mixed in with "romance" like I said in my bio. Some of them are really "angsty" and some do have Miss Parker pregnant or a mommy.

I am surprised that there are no reviews on this story. I understand that many don't want anyone but Miss Parker to be paired off with Jarod. If other readers would just get pass the first few chapters, it is a very good story.
Surprising MP is capable of loving someone else's child. One thing, I love the way she kept her promise to Rachel and allowed her to hug her newborn even after she succumbed in child birth. Tearful ending in chapter 4.
You wrote in a medical scare on women's health which dealt with breast cancer. Done very well and you gave us a sense of feeling of what families must be going through when dealt with the crisis.
The church scene in the last chapter I thought the worst, the end of MP. You surprised me, being that it was a wedding scene and not a funeral.
Lovely wedding vows and honeymoon. Their son's birthday, you clearly see how happy the three were. And you did not forget that besides celebrating the little boy's one year birthday, it was also one year of Rachel's demise. It's good that you wrote in that scene. Like you said, without Rachel, there would be no baby.
Sad, heartbreaking at times. SHATTERED, made me cry. Thank you for the happy ending.
