Amazing story, filled with twists and turns and some ANSWERS that TPTB never really bothered to provide us. I am loving it!! Specially they way you are wrting MP and Jarod's relationship (new yet surprisingly in character).

Yes. You've made us wait a ridiculous long time for this new chap. Yes, I had to go back to last chap to even remember what was going on. ANd YES. I loved this chap!!
Jarod's mom catching them on the bed (after hours of waiting?) was priceless and I am, as I was from the beginning, intrigued to discover more about this complicated plot you have up your sleeve.
Before I finish this review, however, I would like to point out that, with this omnious cliffy you have left us with, it could only be cruel to leave us another... how long was it?... indeterminable length of time before posting more. PLEASE!!!! TRY updating as soonas real life allows!

It was great seeeing an update so soon. Loved the chapter!! And yes, Rabbit Island seems too fitting (so good that it's surprising it was not made up.)...
Thank you for explaining the difference between Jem and Gem (I really loved it; MP gave the name a certain unique twist to it). Also, I loved the name you picked for MP. It was really original and I am almost certain that you are the first one to use it.
Loved, above all else, because I am a shameless shipper who is not afraid to own up to it, the way you are slowly but surely evolving the relationship between Jarod and MP. I loved that they are meeting halfway, both having to give a little (compromise is the key here!!).
Now... How long will this peace remain? Is a storm lingering in the distance? Your cliffhanger, perhaps? Will you follow the original storyline and have Mr. Parker use his child with Brigitte to reasert his position? What is the truth with that kid anyway? They never explained it and I always found his 'importance' to be highly suspicious (didn't you?), especially since he 'disappeared' later on.
Anyway, sorry if I babbled a little. Loved the chap and hope to see more whenever is possible.

I don't think I can properly express into words what I felt while reading this story. Trepidation during the cabin days - I wanted to stop reading, fearing the very worst, but unable to (like MP and the car wreck analogy) -, sadness at the endless lines depicting the fall of MP - even though I knew she had long been on the edge - and constant anticipation. I cringed with every new twist and turn you presented and like MP, I knew something had to give, that something would go wrong, and it did.
I fear she didn't hear something important in Jarod explanation about Zach and I fear Jarod is right, though I don't want him to be. There is only so much one can take and I don't believe Parker can bounce back, not after this... the final straw, I believe.
Beautiful parting phrase about Jarod and hope and him being her anchor; if he doesn't believe, all is really lost.
Please continue, however long it takes to complete this mammoth of a story (as you mentioned). The Pretender is far too complicated to be easily resolved in a two parter, anyway. :D
This is great and I was more than relieved to see Zach is okay. With all the drama going on, I was worried. And I knew he was theirs, not nly because that is teh most popular theory regarding Baby Parker, but the way you wrote her attachment to him... he was family, on way or another.

Typos?! You leave Jarod unconciouss after an explosion, Parker in semi-shock (what will she do now?) and all you can say is typos?! Evil Cliffy, my friend. Pure evil.

I loved the iteraction between Parker and Jarod. When I read your description of her, I can't help but imagine a cornered mouse, desperate to flee away from the stick which will eletrocute him. And Jarod siding up with her, believing in her, was great. I sense, however, that youhave been holding back...
How did Parker know the lottery odds? How come she always knows how to bypass the security detail? Why are there FBI agents involved in the hunt and incriminationof Parker?
Blah, I could go on forever with my questions. Ignore me. What I want to knw, truly, is how you will make Parker trust Jarod. It too seriously imminent death for her to run to him and not away. How do you answer that without it being spoiler?

No, no cliffy, but maybe next time. You are correct, I have been holding back, trying to construct this fic on paper as I see it in my mind and there are a few little surprises to come. Parker will trust Jarod, she always caves eventually. I can't give anything away now, but I will post more as soon as I can. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

Unusual, yes, but I can see it happening. Parker can pick any guy she wants to have a roll in the hay with (not that she would ever approach hay... :D), but to have someone to hold her?

Loved Jarod saying hello from the camera. Was she right, was he waitin gto say it? Or did he sim her and simply know?
But, the mystery that weights heavier than all others, as I'm sure was intended, was how they ended up there, in the beginning of the chapter, away from the Center and dead. Or are they really?
