OH MY GOD. Jarod whispering that he's sorry and whispering HER NAME in her hair as he's withdrawing the needle and putting his arms around her. Hot. I get that it's happening all at once. He's probably stopping her from hitting the needle he just removed and then really quickly putting the other arm around her. He waited until her back was to him. 

He couldn't do it while looking at her, while she looked at him. No, he couldn't. He couldn't even stand to see her break down in that cemetary on the first year anniversary of Thomas's death. He had to run then. He didn't want to do this to her. Oohhh but he had to do it to save her. Man I can't get enough. He probably practiced injecting to see how well he could do it without her feeling it. Ooh I love this.

I can see and hear it all happening. Please keep going.

Oh. About your other reviews. I'll respond to them all here. Someone emailed me regarding your (heavily cropped) image. Apparently, there's an uncropped version of that image, and in it three "weirdly pretender-related" (fandomly) (I'm quoting you) gentlemen are seated below that quirky decor.

Wild, huh? One of them looks, I kid you not, exactly like The Pretender. Yeah. For real. Evidently, all of this is "common knowledge already" (*to everyone except me) "and has been for "several years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


(The major takeaway here is that * if new Pretender episodes drop right now I will discover them in several years)


I don't know what your intentions were/are. I feel somewhat not-as-cringey knowing that all of it is common knowledge. It still feels-- not right. I'm not comfortable with any of this.

I just read FON and this chapter of the sequel and I'm excited to know how it will all turn out. Jarod is as bad as I always knew he could. I'm glad Parker isn't a Stepford wife. She is still her own person and seems challenging still!

I'm so impressed with your ability to take the dark parts of Jarod and turn them inside out so we can see them so clearly. He keeps his dark hidden well from people.

This was fast paced and visually appealing and SOOOOO professionally written. I want more and more.  I will have to go back and review FON but no time now.

Thank you for the offer, but, no, I love a mystery, and in the spirit of maintaining the mystery I refuse to ask any questions about him. I think boundaries are important. Shrink? No. I'm not asking. Mm, I've been away for a little while. Evidently. I must have missed something.

 

I had to look up that other person you spoke of (gratitude to reddit). It seems you might be referring to someone that everyone is now calling "supperman" (this is all that I will ever know about supperman; he's just going to be remembered as that "suPPerman guy" if he's remembered by someone) which is-- exactly what suPPerman wanted, right, because he doesn't like social awareness or things like decency and empathy--


Anyway. It's clear and breezy here, and scorching hot, and not humid at all. And that's nice. Tis far better to sizzle than to steam.

Ah, right, I do call myself mirage here; I was obsessed with optical phenomena when I was a child, and sort of felt largely illusionary, etc. etc.
It became an entire theme. It seemed appropriate to call myself that while I'm here because-- reasons.



Oh. Wow. Ocean and-- well, wow, that's fucking awesome. All. Of. That. Is. Awesome. That is so awesome. I don't know if any of it's really true, and it isn't any of my business. I won't seek confirmation. Boundaries, etc. But do me a favor and leave me with the belief that it's all true, and never tell me any differently. 

I do have love for our entire fandomly, I love our fandomly.

Ah, the quite-literal-ear wiggling thing. Yes, that was my mistake, and I own it. I should have known that he had a whole other skillset, but I didn't, because I'm ignorant (ignorance is my true talent).

Also, there are quite a few fans who have truly imaginative euphemistic (and euphemistic emoji-porn-tastic) tendencies, and I can asssure you that never before has "ear wiggling" ever meant that he can wiggle his ears, nope, not while eggplant, peach, and kissing emojis were included in the sentence. 

Also, I've never seen him do it, and I don't know anyone who has personally witnessed him doing it (I'm not issuing a challenge).

Anyway, yes, I naturally assumed, incorrectly, that it was more of the same word mincing that I've grown accustomed to over the years-- if, in fact, I was incorrect.

Hey hey it's Michael's biggest fan again. I'm looking for one of your fucs. Jarod was dark and chasing Parker and he was bringing women in to some place to audition..and the women were all refugees or something but he was looking for one who looked like Parker, he was Trying to find a stand in for her because he couldn't have her ..but the women all thought they were there for large movie roles and freedom and a lot of money and fame . ..it reminds me of Epstein and Trump scamming and trafficking and raping but your story was Before that news broke so publicly and became widely known and now your fic has disappeared? I think it was called 'devil's advocate'  and Jarod was also using drugs. He didn't actually rape anyone in the story but the similarities tho..they got me thinking ..

Please let me know if there's a conspiracy and please update this and all your stories I love them thank you

That "fuc's" disappearance is no conspiracy. Like you, I began to notice that reality was beginning to resemble my fuc. It bothered me. A lot.
 
At my most enraged, I felt compelled to eradicate er— something (yeah, something, let's go with that) from the planet, and deleting a scribbling is legal.
 
It wasn't the most attractive option, and it resolved nothing. I don't feel better either. 

But it was legal.

Alsways seeing Jarod in these roles and Michael it's so different to the normal Jarod. But not too different as you are right always that he removed a kidney from man without permission and that is assault and doctors can go to prison for that here in my country. this remains plausible and more do and scarier because it is Jarod .

When I first saw Iowa which you might not be familiar with I was startled and I was not startled also.

Freeway felt the same startled but not startled.

This is a fantastico written and the plotting is magnificento!

I want to read more of this now.

I hope Parker will be as okay as she can be when she is away from Jarod again.

The wealth buys power and the power allows this. Just like the Epstein case. All those men, decades of abuse and trafficking, and a lot of people knew and kept it secret. It's realistic. This needs to be written.
