...

Wow. Wow, Mirage, this is so exquisite and ... wow.
Grey. But he dreamed in color. I've never seen anyone write about colors, and really about life the way you do. I think Angelo would have synesthesia and actually see it that way and see everything. I can tell you love Angelo. And you love Broots. I do too. I kind of empathetize and relate. I think all of us on the autism spectrum can relate to neurodivergences. The Pretender was sort of there early on, bringing in characters with differences and disabilities and abilities. They were woke before empathy and decency and good morals and just being a nice human wwere all labeled "woke" and considered a bad thing.
Oh, baby, it's a wild world as the old maxi priest tune says.
Thank you for this. It's a new favorite and I'm adding it my favorites. All stars. *CHEFS KISS*
PERFECT piece.

Retribution goes awry when Jarod inadvertently kills a man. (Story in English)

I'm reading this. I'm like 18 or so chapters in and realised I haven't reviewed any of it yet. So I'm challenging myself to review so far before I get the prize of continuing.
MY GOD! Mirage. This first chapter is the first domino. It fell and knocked everything else down and that shit happens for real.
You did so... I'm kind of struggling to think coherently.
Magic. this is magical.

Twelve years after Carthis, the death of a dear friend reunites predator and prey. *If adultery bothers you, click elsewhere or prepare to be bothered.

Decided to hop aboard. I'm intrigued.

Binging hard rn. Had to back up to review. This is too plausible.

What is so terrifying is that this could happen...and how insightful this all is. I'm supposed to the zoom meeting thing but I don't want to go rn.

I hesitate to use the word evil Jarod. He is being Jarod imo. He hasn't always treated her that well on the tv series. They bring out the worst in each other so many times. This is a realistic take on what's on my dvds. I'm in awe.

When Jarod and his clone are presumed dead and further cloning attempts prove futile, Raines is determined to find another way. He finds it in Dry River, Arizona.

Now that's how it's done!
Jarod leaning in close to tell Parker it's okay not to know.. uhh-huh I can see it all. They are so real. This is so REAL. I know that cenote by the way! I lived in that area for a decade and it's a treat. Probably my favorite place on earth.
They are so perfect together in a way that isn't too good to be true perfect. Some of the childhood teasing begins.
The three of them journeyed a long way to find themselves and happiness and each other again Angelo is so right.
Thank you for this, a true resolution.

A crime scene, a chance meeting, two people transcending the lives chosen for them. Jarod POV. S.M.U.T.

*Fans self* This is hot. I'm serious. I love this so much. It's not just hot. It's also professionally written and not cheesy and not trashy. It's still in character and classy. It can't be an easy line to dance along and not cross. Well done. I hope you'll update this.

When you care enough to send the very best

I hope you don't mind so many reviews all at once but I joined months ago and didn't have time to read and now I'm quarantined and binge reading lol! This is hands down my favorite pretender christmas story. It's beautiful and sweet but not so much that christmas cheer prevents Miss Parker from doing what she should have done a long time ago. I can think of no greater gift. I love this. It's like one of those christmas ghosts stories but with a centre styling.

Jarod is implicated in a spate of homicides.

Oh, the ending. Oh, my, my. Your prose is eloquent, stunning, gripping, powerful. I love this story, I'm sad to see this end, I'm grateful that you wrote it for us and that you updated it. You gave us a satisfying conclusion. Thank you so much.

A past transgression jeopardizes Sydney's life.

I'm late to the party. Oops. Oh, Mirage, each piece you write is irresistible and satisfying. I read you compulsively. The characters... how do you write them so in character? I can't get enough. The topic is important and controversial and so original. You're tackling it gracefully.

They had sex? They had SEX! You didn't show it! ARRRRHHHHHH!!!!
It's ok. I'm ok. Really really seriously no really I'm ok. Just deprived of seeing my 2 fav characters haz teh sex. They never did it on screen either. It's so disappointing. I guess... not that they would show them actually having sex on screen either, unless it was on HBO or something, or full porno! But the emotional and physical aspects of sex that you infuse into the sex scenes blow my freaking mind and with talent like that of yours Mirage you should use it to please us sex starved fans! It's like watching the characters ... even I dare say the actors .. have sex when I read your sex parts because you write them so well and the act so freaking well.
I'll stop whinging now.
Did the couple decide not to let possibly being father and daughter get in their way? I'm ok with that. He wasn't her father, even if he was her bio father. He just wasn't. So if they shrugged it off and middle fingered propiety I'm all good. I want them together, having sex, and I don't care how related they are to each other by blood.
Can't you edit and add the sex? Please?
ok i'll stop whinging.
I'll never stop whinging about it.
I love this. I want more.
And give me the sex next time!
Bravo!

Oomph! Now THIS is what I'm talking about. I love your writing. I hope you'll update everything else you're writing, too.
Much love.

Wild Horses prequel.

Oomph. Profound, horrific.
In your stories Miss Parker usually saves herself. The majority of the time she does. We see her trying to do that here, basically trying to move her hand in a sawing action to make the knife slice the rest of the way through her hand so she can be free. But she doesn't succeed.
Jarod coming in surprised me. You leave it to my imagination to how Jarod arrives and I'm going to say that he and Sydney were in contact. Jarod may have even bugged Sydney's phone. Or Broots begged him to follow Miss Parker when she discovered another victim and went to free the victim.
I think the only reason Jarod didn't end Lyle is because Miss Parker wasn't breathing, ya know? I hope I'm right about my theories. I love this darkness. Please add the rest. Thank you for all of these missing pieces.

Jarod getting all huffy like this.. ermagherd love it when he does it on the dvds too."a blind woman can even see" oh lordt! Makes my fangirl heart thump harder.
And shout outs to the motorhead tune. My girl Miuna was a metal head mechanic! Yahhh! Please say there'll be more flashbacks to her and how it all unfolded. I love it. Jarod's going back to the Centre. I can't wait. I always wanted to see him back there while Parker is there, too, long term thing. Make it happen please. Love you!

Oh snap! Why didn't I find you sooner? I'm on board so late in the game here. I've got many stories to catch up on.
I'm loving what I'm reading and you know what you're doing. The characters are so on point it's scary. It's also amazing, mind you, but it is scary too.
I'm enthralled and enamored of you.
I have the audacity to ask for more. Please. 🥺 ❤️
Thank you for reading, Sammi, and for the generous review.

Exquisite. I love how emotional it became between Jarod and Parker. I still have chill bumps all over me. I feel that so much. It's like watching an episode when I read you. You nail it. Every damn time.
Broots just wanting peace. Damn. He's feeling bad and it wasn't his fault. Parker wasn't going to bring Jarod in until Lyle showed up.That's true to her character. She's never captured him. She's never taken him back to the Centre. SHe can't. She won't do it. I feel so much for her. She's standing there telling Jarod to escape, demanding him to leave and he can't! I'm in tears, Mirage.
Jarod can't leave. He tells Parker to leave, and take her people with her. Oh god. He's trying to be strong, wants to confess his love to her but refuses to burden her.. the way Sydney didn't want to burden Jarod if he could escape.
My heart. But they both know they have feelings for each other. Parker doesn't even deny it when Jarod talks about how Faraijii discovering those feelings.
Poor Angelo. Let him be safe and happy.
I hope to see Sydney soon. He's still recovering from the health issue I presume.
That last part tho. Damn. Jarod won't have to feel guilty for long. He'll be seeing her soon I'm guessing. Can't ever get enough of you. Write faster please.

Oh snap, right in the Pretender feels! I'm loving the hell out of this. They're both at the Centre. Finally. I'm so freaking stoked for more. Tingly with anticipation. It's like coming home from school and watching The Pretender and having to wait for the next episode. More more more. Please hurry.
