Just saw the images you posted on some of your stories mate and well played. They do look shocked here after almost being caught kissing by a blind woman, and in the story they are both shocked and ready to blame each other. They look so bloody shocked here. Good choice mate for a perfect Pretender one off. I don't go in for smut usually but this was a crime scene and had some action and it seems inevitable on the series you gave us what the networks failed to give us.

Top shelf my mate. Margaret alluding to the major's more aggressive tactics when Jarod doesn't kick open the door and then I get the impression that she was with Jarod outside but then floated right through the door to join the other ghosts and Parker. This is all spectacularly written and I know it's over now but I will revisit in coming years. There is humor, action, adventure, drama, trauma, and the love interests. I'm not into fanfic so much but this held my attention and is fiction at it's finest. Pats on the back and kudos.

Holy hells mate. The chapter title and story title are perfect and provide some hints. Refuge is a returning theme in the tv series and at the end of this hauntingly beautiful missing piece ... it's really the center piece or Centre piece we realize that refuge was sought by Jarod within ...by jarod. In himself and inside the Centre he found refuge. Stunning. You are a genius! I have to recommend this now!

I had to do some homework when I read your review. I've been away for a little while.
I'll preface this response with I abhor violence, and I particularly abhor sexual violence and sexual violence perpetrators aka "grabbers" and their enablers and supporters.
The avowed and adjudicated rapist has been perpetrating and perpetuating violence and hateful rhetoric for decades, and that hasn't changed simply because the violence he spawned returned to graze him "like a boomerang, only you don't throw it."
I'm relieved that no innocent person was harmed. I don't have any other thoughts, really; I'm entirely indifferent to this.
And I won't be gaslit into caring about, or unifying with that rapist (or his enablers and supporters), just as I wouldn't unite with—and wasn't taught to care about—the Mengeles, Dahmers, Hitlers, etc of the world.
I didn't know it happened, and it has had zero impact on my life; that's how little significance he has.
Little is woefully inaccurate. I don't care at all about the rapist, and I don't care if that's politically incorrect, woke, wrong, amoral, abnormal, a sin, or whatever.
My thoughts and compassion are for genuine victims and survivors, the truly innocent. E. Jean Carroll, Mrs. Giffords, the Parkland students, Sandy Hook students and their families, etc. etc. I care about them. And I care about Gus. I have to mention Gus. Gus is amazing.
