Ooohhh more please. I'm so intrigued by this unnamed series and how plausible it is. The things Parker ran from were Jarod knocking Lyle out and saving Parker's life. I can imagine the ambulance ride and Jarod sobbing and pleading with Parker to stay with him. She ran from intubation and all of the medical procedures. Sutures do look like spiders all done up sometimes and that black silk could become spider silk in sedation dreams especially when sedation is light. It's all medically accurate too. Brilliant. Like always.

Oh, this is dark.. so dark Mirage, and exquisitely written. You articulated this amazingly and set the scene so I could see it happen. You area wordsmith!
Miss Parker is fighting a hospital team and her mom is her safe place.. the spider is black the suture silk is black. I are what you did there and it's genius You are a genius!
I agree that tgere serms no appropriate warning. It's just a serious kind of darkness.
