I am slowly catching up -and loving every word, new chapter and every story. You write your characters with a purpose, capturing every nuance. You keep your dialogues pretty much as we would hear them on the show. 

Isn't it a shame they couldn't do something about keeping the movies going? There are so many evenings I can't find a thing left that I enjoyed...oh well that is what fanficition is for!

Amazing! This is very rich in detail and has made me feel so many different emotions, e.g. felt as if my own heart were breaking when Jarod walked out on Parker, and I''ve been angry at him and pitied him too. It's been an emotional rollercoaster ride and it's very dark and sad but it's also intelligently written, and of course everyone is in character. I don't think you will end it happily but I like that you're making a happy ending possible, if that make sense. Hope you won't keep us waiting too long for the next chapter.

Great chapter! But overwhelmingly sad! As much as I enjoy this story I can't help thinking enough is enough! How many circles of HELL are there? Haven't they each suffered more than enough? Not to mention Astra who is blameless in all this misery. And Parker doesn't love Nicholas. Even he deserves more!

Hello, Twisted. Apologies for the sadness. I don't know how many circles of hell there are; the muse seems to believe there are a few more, so it's not quite enough just yet. They have suffered an awful lot and Astra, like every child of divorced/estranged parents, is quite blameless. Mm, we shall see.

I won't review each chapter but I had to let you know how cool is it that you wrote Jarod as a priest. I don't know if it's a pretend or if he is really taken the plunge but I hope you'll have him as a priest for severnl more chapters, especaily if things heat up tween him and MP.

Wow! Did not see that coming! What is up with your muse? I didn't think this story could get any sadder but it has. I would havw liked to see Jarod find happiness but I guess in a way be has. Although I can't help feeling (hoping?) he is just hiding.

Well, not every story can have a 'happy' ending. And I'm sure my version of happy is different than yours considering you are not a Jarod/NO shipper.

Very well written as always. Heartbreaking actually. Looking forward to the next chapter. As well as the continuation of your other works. Thank you again for writing and updating.

Hi there, Twisted. I didn't see it coming either; I admit it: it's just plain weird. Even for me. (I'm not even Catholic)

Oh, I don't know, I think our versions of happy are probably similar. I have written happy (or at least semi-happy) endings for Parker and Jarod (Nemesis, Happenstance, Unpredictable Predictability, and one of the Forces of Nature endings- working on another as I type this), even the horrible In Pieces had a happy conclusion.

I'm actually undecided in regards to a Jarod/? ship. Both he & Nia and he & Zoe (Nia who?) were very cute together (& oddly enough both women were abuse survivors).

Rachel (Zoe who? Nia who?) is as good a choice as any but (here we go again) the woman was having a difficult time and then Jarod came along (and had sex with her and then disappeared).

And the pattern continued. When Parker and Jarod almost kissed (um, Rachel who?), she wasn't exactly having the best day ever either (it was a "difficult moment" if I remember correctly). J-dude has some serious issues that need to be addressed and put to rest and until that happens, he won't be - well, shippable. Thanks for reading and the review.

Oh yeah, Ethan should know! And I know Ethan is really understanding and loves Miss Parker and Jarod, but I hope he won't forgive him right away!

Ethan sure carries alot for being the baby brother of those two. I'd pay money to see MP flipping burgers for cash, probably glaring dagers at those burnt patties.

Parts of this story are hauntingly beautiful.  It is unfortanate the way thier lives have turned out, but somehow fitting becuase tragedy is the only life these two characters have ever known. 

God that was sad! But very well written. I can't believe you updated all three of your stories at once. You are most prolific. But this is my favorite chapter of this story so far. Because even though it was sad it wasn't cruel. Thanks for updating.

I give kudos to Parker for not throwing either her drink or book at Jarod for the b&e to apologize. Does "leaving alone" mean he's going away for a while or just for the night?

As usual I am in awe of your writing skills. As well as how you can write several stories at once. I knew when I first started reading this story that it would be sad. But it is getting depressingly sad. Of course the title DID suggest this. Still both this and Who Will Guard The Guards seem even more anti Jarod then usual and you do know I am a fan.

Just one thing: I want to strangle Jarod every time he pushes Miss Parker so badly.

And the time in the cabin were he basically raped her... that was the darkest part of the story and shouldn't be forgotten.

Absolutely amazing! The despair Jarod and Parker went through/are going through is very well written, I teared up a bit.  I loved the interaction between Jarod and Astra, and the comparison to Nemo was brilliant.  Huge fan of angst and you write it so well!  Please don't make us wait too long for the next chapter!
