I loved the idea of Parker being kidnapped by Lyle. Jarod is always so protective towards her also during the show (thinking about "Bank" or "Keys"). I'm sure he'd get mad if someone Kidnapped her, especially Lyle! I loved this story, great lines and nice dialogues between Jarod and Sydney! Thanks!!

Although we no longer receive the reruns of The Pretender in France (where I live) I get huge enjoyment from watching the DVD's. I just returned from the annual holiday headache (I'm never flying again!!) and was thrilled to find the last installment to a wonderfully written story.

If anyone had told me a couple of months ago that it was possible to pull-off a happily ever after for our favourite characters, I would have been sceptical to say the least.

I have been keeping up with this story, and apologize for not giving you the reviews I should have. I look forward to each chapter and each chapter has been a treat.
I always enjoy stories that give us a peak into relationships or explanations of relationships we didn't get in the show. I like where you have taken this. And look forward to learning more of how Cox fits into all this. that was a surprise!

I'm glad you liked the surprise of Mr Cox - I've always thought he was such an undervalued character and a real 'outsider' - I like to think that Jarod might have got along with him under different circumstances. (I know Mr Cox is a bit creepy but I can forgive him that!).

Great chapter!
The only criticism is that I notice the characters call Mr. Raines, "Old man Raines" and I don't think he was ever called that in the series and I would think they would just call him Mr. Raines. But, its your story.
I can't wait for another chapter! I like the fact that Cox is teaming with Jarod. Interesting twist, seeing as one would think they would never get together considering they are supposed to be rivals.

I love this cliff hanger!!! More please!!! I like how Sydney was acting like he was there to save Parker and wanted to know why Lyle thought Jarod was coming. Hilarious! Acting all innocent. I predict that Ethan will come in and help the situation some how. Great work!

Wow! This was a great start, beautifully written with lovely descriptions. I could see Jarod on the beach, even imagine the look on his face as he stared up at the Centre. Very evocative. Read like it could have been the next movie (only better). Very interested to see where you go on this.
