"Hate" said the dice"
Lovely, bittersweet and very well written.
Author's Response:
I have to admitt, I am chuckling a bit as I'm reading this. I rewrote that line so many times, and each time I was told it didn't make any sense. In the end I decided to just keep it, because I liked it. So the fact that you pointed out that very line I kind of feel like going "Muhahhahaha! Vindication!".
But in all seriousness, thank you for leaving such kind words, it means a lot.

So sad and yet so sweet. Nicely done even if it's so dark.
Author's Response:
Thank you. :)
Yes, it is a tiny bit on the dark side, glad you liked it anyway.

Oh, that is so poignant. I really like the sense of struggle and what... maybe futility?
Nicely done
Author's Response:
Futility is definitely a good way to describe the mood I was trying to set. He's stuck in a pit of desperation, so he does something drastic, but when we do things out of desperation it's often not such a good idea as we thought it was..so yes, good word. And thank you for your lovely review :)

I really love this. Dark, but not unbelievable, and I especially love "The voices chant "Murder!" while he dreams of the light". Very lyrical and beautiful. And btw, it already didn't suck when I got it ;)
Author's Response: Hehe, thank you ;)
