Another great chapter. I'm kind of hoping that Jarod will stay with them because he'll probably go to Africa where he would be treated worse.

As much as I enjoy the writing, I have a hard time with Miss Parker allowing the cruelty that Lyle disposes. Everyone has a dark side and Lyle's does come through very easily. Parker's perhaps under the skin, but as a Parker fan I don't see her in that position. She is strong but not a slave to Lyle's cravings and power plays. That alone would keep her from allowing Lyle to dog tie Jarod.
I think (so it is only my opinion) that Parker always had ties to Jarod. She never shot him, shot at him yes. She had chances in the series to capture him but didn't.
The writing is quite good as is the all the interactions. it is your story to tell. I'm not critizing just commenting on how I always viewed interactions between Jarod and Parker. And you have to know that Parker was the reason I stayed with the show for all 4 seasons and two movies. She was always my favorite character. So please keep that in mind as you read this review.

As another reviewer said a while ago, a non-sadistic guy who wants to use Jarod's gift for an actually useful and important purpose without jumper cables being involved? I like it!
Can't wait to see how agent Byrnes negociates the moral dilemna of releasing Jarod back to the Centre when his job is over...

I love this! A guy who actually wants to use Jarod for non-evil purposes, and someone to thwart Lyle's vicious controlling tendencies. But it's unfinished . . . :( Any plans on further chapters?

Did I read this story somewhere before? I'm sure I did but if I remember it correctly it was longer?
OR it is deja vu or my inner sense is finally developing. Now if I hear dead people... well I don't think you'll want to read anything I post. ;-p
I don't remember if Jarod ever finds true freedom or if Parker ever shifts in her position...or maybe Lyle gets what is coming to him. Was the story ever finished? Now i'll be hunting this one down.

Working on the assumption that Jarod escaped last time and the time before and he could get in and out whenever he chooses, so we actually got them to upgrade security. I would like to see Parker make a move other than the inhuman treatement this story seems to keep her in her father's mold.
you must realize that I'm the Parker fan, so all things are subjective as to who is your favorite character. So with that in mind I'll say I can't see her allowing Lyle freedom to mistreat Jarod. I still see there being feelings there that perhaps she doesn't want to admit to, but there none the less.
So far she is a bit of a puppet with out the investiagative curiousity that we had seen in the shows.
My curiosity will keep me reading to see if it's all a show she is putting on for the sake of the powers that be.
