Parker might be too broken to ever fight back again. Jarod's doing the US military's assbackwards 'break em down to build them up' bs that gives so many of those blokes PTSD and breaks them completely and the results will be years of Parker having to try to recover. When she finds out he's the one that sexually and phsyically and emotionally broke her that's going to be even more damaging. 

I think in teh right circumstances Jarod could do this. He stole a man's kidney. That's already a crime and violation. That was a line I never believed he would cross but that I also feel he was capable of crossing all along. Meanwhile his dad was still like "how can you be so good after everything that you've been through, son?'" and the answer is Jarod isn't so good after all. Other authors have said it better than I have. Jarod has his own facade for all his talk about facades. 

These inner musings in this chapter ... it's what victims do in the situation to try to justify everything. She believes she's a child molester and trafficker. Poor woman. 

This is plausible. A heppy ending won't be plausible, not after this. I've seen authors write rapistJarod and then have Parker literally chase Jarod and basically get down on her knees and beg him to be a daddy to his rapebaby and Jarod never even apologizes for raping Parker and Parker never even seems affected by the rape and his crime. I find those gross and nasty.

If they are going to be together ever he has to apologize and she has to show the damage and the rape has to be an obstacle and it has to take a lot of years to sort it out. Unless she really never remembers and never learns the truth they can't plausibly go from "he raped her" to "happily ever after" without even acknowledging his darmn crimes.

I'm interested to see how this will go.

Ouches. This is not easy to read at all. Must have been a pill to write it all out with the stunning detail and medically accurate detail.

Not many people even acknowledge female ejaculation. Only ONE other author here that I'm aware ofh as even referred it, but subtly, by writing "never been so much evidence of orgasm" and I'm miserably misquoting that and parapharsing. It was Mirage I'm certain. Just confirmed that it was Circles Of Hell by Mirage and she implies what happens in her own subtle way and I think someone took issue with even that because people... are gonna take issue. Some people think women don't orgasm at all.

Any time authors break from the pack, chew off the leashes and run feral to do their own thing a reviewer is going to have an issue.
