As promised I've returned to review the series in its entirety. MY GOD WHERE DO I BEGIN? Your transition work is hands down brilliant. It's no secret. You excel with transitioning just as you excel with story telling, word placement, illustrating with language, illustrating the passage of time.

It seemed impossible that there could be a promise of happiness ever again and maybe that's the grand take away here, that people can heal and find some kind of life again. Jarod didn't think Parker would be herself after nearly dying. Broots said no one who went in would ever be the same again and he was right. But he didn't mean life was over for anyone. He meant changed. Both Parker and Jarod were changed. 

Parker pushes Jarod all the way out of her life in this series and the two still find their way back to each other. Each of them needing to handle Lyle, each of them in their way led them to meeting again.

It was their darkness, the shared darkness, the respective darknesses in them that ultimately brought them back to each other, brought them back into focus through each other's eyes.  I love that. It's so fitting for this series. Jarod becomes her accomplice, her alibi, her confidant. Jarod becomes Parker's refuge. And she becomes his. 

This is stunning, brilliant. THe way you include Ben and Catherine's relationship, that kind of refuge, and the word refuge, Sydney's safe word for Jarod, and even the sign that Jarod made for his ranch. You tie it all together. You've written my favorite series for my favorite TV series. I can't thank you enough for this one. I can't believe you're writing fanfic.

You can do this professionally and get paid for it. 

You've outdone yourself with this one. 

Uhhhh huh so dark and creamy like Lyle. Would have loved to read a whole series on this!

I sometimes forget how evil Lyle is supposed to be.

This is a dark and stark reminder.

I just read this entire series! OMG, it's so perfect. Thank you goddess!

Woot! Did not see this coming. Hell of a twist! I think even tho Parker is a bad ass trained assassin etc, etc. and all it's her twin and most of her bad assness was faked a facade, etc ECT all  and she must feel she's disappointed her mum and Ethan and Jarod so I think there would be shock...this amount of shock. The arousal and freedom feels I can see because it's parker. This is aaaaaMazing!

Oh wows and oh whoas.... "You said I'm always with you during the most difficult...". God! I love this. I love how he shows his love for her without saying it and maybe scaring her away or something. She and lyle are even now! I also love so much that it's the machine lyle had requested for the centre in the crematory that they use! Lyle's really been digging his own grave for a while. A ranch of refuge called REFUGE...oh my God.

OMG I can see the characters and....oh all of it ! Jarod's ringtone would be that music from the magic flute!! He talked about that Mozart taking him anywhere and he said he felt he could be anyone and do anything!!!

Thank you for including that piece of Jarod's past! Oh I want more!

I didn't expect this. I know Jarod is problematic. I get it. Parker taking about her darkness in the face of Jarod's own darkness. They just seem so similar. This is a true equilibrium. I just love this. You nailed it all.

Fanfreakingtastic from start to finish. I have to read this a few more times now and completely unpack this.

So thought provoking and with all of the pretender feels. Congrats?
