Hi
Ohh that was so good, so sinister. You caught the tone and mood perfectly.
Reviewer: jacci SignedHad to read it again and it is just so good, what is there to say? I love it, it is so evil, and so twisted in the best possible ways.
Reviewer: jaccione SignedOhh that was just sooo cool. I have no trouble picturing that at all, and that damn smile, bastard got what he deserved.
Reviewer: jaccione SignedOhh sniffers, poor Miss Parker. It must have just crushed her that he didn't care about stuff like that.
Author's Response: yep, poor Miss P... ;)
Nice idea to parallel their story with the finale of Voyager. I am a die hard trekkie myself, although TNG is my first love i really loved Voyager too and i enjoyed this, it was a good association.
Reviewer: jaccione SignedSecond all that, as alwasy, brilliant and succint. I can see Lyle in my mind, the nuances of his twisted pysche always flayed open so beautifully and without mercy or remorse.
Reviewer: jaccione Signed
Author's Response: Just testing the pic
A young girl is dumped in front of Miss Parker's house in the middle of winter. How will she affect Parker's life?
2010: Chapter 2 has been updated to include a missing chunk that was cut out in the original transfer here. I'm sorry it took me so long to realize it!
2013: Ch 1&2 have been updated slightly.
Loved the opening of this, it is hard to imagine getting Parker to take on a teenager any other way. Particularly liked the way Sydney and Parker responded to each other's momentary lapses of reason.
Author's Response: Thanks Jacci. =)
Version One of the Madeline Series. Madeline has something cooking. The first two chapters under "Madeline Series" go with both versions, then it splits up into the two versions. "Cooking with Madeline" follows the series.
Part 4B is back in the works- Miss Parker needs to have a little fun and Madeline is determined to make sure she does! :)
Oh the plot thickens, I hope she knows what she is doing, and Jarod better be looking out for her!!
Author's Response:
Jarod's definately got her back- but hopefully she'll listen to him and not find trouble!
Reviewer: jacci SignedI love that scene about the stolen car, nice to see it from that point of view.
Author's Response: Thanks. =) It just begged to be written!
That was very nicely done. I liked her fear of Lyle, Would be nice to see some of Madeline from his pov
Author's Response: Thank you again. =) Lyle definately senses Madeline's fear of men in general, and it definately goads him on! He's giving me a little trouble at the moment, but I'll beat him into submission soon. ;)
Oh no, this can't be good, not good at all!!!
Author's Response: No, unfortunately not! Are the site troubles giving you a chance to catch up on fic reading? That's a good thing about the server problems, then- I know you've been missing reading. =)
Oh that was so sad, made me cry.
Author's Response: Good. ;) I'm glad cuz I know you like a fic to make you cry. LOL Thanks for reviewing, too. =)
That was a very unique and strange story. I was like Onisius too, quite confused for a bit, and then when it unfolded it all became clear, in a twisted kind of way. LMAO, that was well done, and very original
Author's Response: You guys are too kind! It's always nice to get good reviews from writers like you and Onisius. Thank you!
I love this story, it is tender and nicely written. And you know I am a sucker for Jarod/Sydney plotlines. Well done
Reviewer: jaccione SignedThat was great, I especially loved the opening!!
Reviewer: jacci SignedOhh that was just soooo good
Reviewer: jaccione SignedI really enjoyed this very much. As much for what was written as what was left unsaid. Nicely written.
Reviewer: jaccione SignedOhhh, that was so good. I loved the description of Kerri's dilemma and then how you turned the whole thing around at the end.
Off for chap 2 now!!
Reviewer: jacci Signedwow!!! that was very intense and very original too. I liked it very much.
Reviewer: jaccione SignedBeauty doesn't even begin to describe this story.... I don't even want to attempt with mundane words to say how good this was....
Reviewer: jaccione Signedohh i liked that so very much, love the quiet and understated intensity of it, almost a breahtless quality
