Like it? Mirage my heart just hurt me and there are big bumps all over me. This was powerful. Very poignant. You know all of these characters like you created them. Angelo would most want to speak with music! :) The colors of music and the colors of his friends was genius. This is my favorite story ever so far! That last lines

"vents surrounding Angelo undulated in shades of grey and silence. Angelo's world was dull. Not vibrant, not clear. Not black. Not white.

Grey.

But he dreamed in color."

It is breath taking.

I don't know the words after reading this from the start! I was unable to get away when I started reading chapter 1. ;) :) This was beatiful and scary!!! I feel like I must have more now..the addiction I am to your writing. I can't wait to see what Jarod will do now? Will he kill Miss Parker? I think he will! Don't let him please! I want the rest please!

This is so satistying and has aged brilliantly. It's my favorite Pretender story of all time. Any chance that I can bribe a sequel out of you. I love Jarod's "I've half a mind to introduce myself."

I can see that and I understand. Having sex with him would be so stunning. They were both so stunned and so satisfied. It's hot. I love it. I love that it's not just smut too. Real emotion just like on my dvds, and a plausible crime scene and reason for them to meet up that way. I love it. Can't say it enough. Mirage you should be writing novels.

I don't know the words to describe how much I love this. I love this so much. You capture all of the characteristics of all of the characters amazingly and leave me craving more... and Brooots and EMily!! So perfect for each other.

Wow. Your writing and story telling skills have always been polished and professional and also mature but you've taken it all to a new level with this story, and this chapter. Your descriptive work is second to none, the transitions are seamless, the dialogue is brilliant and best of all the characters are the characters. I can feel the yearning for the absent mother, I can feel Jarod's yearning for Parker. I even feel sympathy for Lyle which is new and unexpected because I had labeled him evil and labeled Jarod good and gave all of the characters labels and put them away in their right places. You made me ME feel sorry for Lyle. Even without the torment that you implied Ray inflicted, Lyle was an innocent child stolen from his mother at birth and mistreated terribly. If I blame him for his actions I have to blame Ethan for his and Kyle's for his. If they can be redeemed Lyle can be redeemed. I love this backstory you filled in, with Lyle being forced to hurt Emily and his explanation fits with what we know already. Parker did have the good luck of faking Jacob's murder easily. It just works the way you write it and I love it. I hope everything is good in real life. I kind of worry when you're gone for too long. Take care of yourself and thank you for this. Congratulations are in order. You earned it.

Oo. I don't have the words now. I have a processing issue and have to think for a while before I know how to say in words how I feel. This is so good Mirage that I have tears in my eyes. I think you are a romantic. I know you're not a shipper but you know how it is. The way you have Jarod talk about time and how time isn't a measure of love or relationships. It's just time. Just like that Culture club song says. I recognize my characters when I read you. You won't ever know what that means to a fan like me that has been so touched and impacted by The Pretender. You keep it alive and keep me coming back for more. I'm so greedy for this.

I'd like to see everything in the Mirarchives please. Like now if that's cool wit ya. This is ... it's heartbreaking but it's genius because what did Sydney say in one episode.. like the mind is capable of anything to protect its host and if Jarod really needed to go ... he would like you know... go. He said he escaped to places in his mind to survive and if he thought his simulations were killing people and if he really needed to get out and was physically stopped ... then yeah... he would totally do this. It's plausible and it's ... OMG you just bested yourself and everything and why aren't YOU writing the novels? Your mind is just...your outside the box and over the box and rip the box up thinking and hey blow the box up thinking is just amazeballs. This is my favorite ending of all time ever of anyone's period and hands down. Thank you for sharing with us even if you had to be begged to go back and find the early stuff and even though you should have shared it with us immediately. Mind Blown.
