I'm grinning like a huge fool. There aren't many authors willing to jump out of the box and turn the shipperdom upside down. There aren't many authors who accept Thomas as a legitimate part of Parker's life. They treat him like a whim...just like her father did. What you did here is intriguing. It's different and probably left many people feeling bitter. It's a spin on Jarod/Parker romance...and when I saw the title I knew it wouldn't be boring. You didn't disappoint.
I read tons of fanfic and it's all the same story, and the stories are the same story basically, they all look alike and end the same with Jarod and MP together forever in love. Jarod, MP, kissy kissy, children and 90% of it is unrealistic and not plausible. This will probably fall on deaf ears but I hope you will add some more chapters. Congratulations on the break from the pack. You rock!

I get the feeling that this won't be a favorite of mine. I'll have to see how bad the nonconsent is.. BUT ...BUT this first chapter is f******* amazing! Jarod goes too far. You never let him be too perfect. I love that about you! In Forces of Nature, he had issues but those aside, he had to struggle to find Miss Parker and when he did find her, it was only because he bumped into a guy ... all that hard work and it was luck that helped him. In Nemesis, he works days and nights through headaches and exhaustion just to try to keep up with her and still she escapes him lol. Circles f Hell he couldn't find her and she ended up finding him more than other way around. You really have a perspective into these characters that no one else has. It's astounding. I love your writing.

Thanks, Needlepoint. It's not my favorite either. None of my fics are my favorite. This one was okay until chapter two. I don't approve of chapters two through how ever many chapters this becomes.

Miss Parker is so wonderful here..she always is but there's so much I love here, that's she picking on Broots again and this-- "No," Parker said curtly. "The only thing you'll find in the details, Sydney, is the devil," Parker said as she threw the car into reverse. "And I believe we're searching for Jarod."
She's not going to tell the woman's secret. I see again that woman's code and little girls' code thing here that you first introduced us to in The Return series with Nia and Parker. I remember now that Parker was kind to Zoe as well in Forces of Nature and in Circles of Hell was sorry that Zoe overdosed. I think it's cool that Miss Parker is above being catty most of the time. Fabulous chapter.

Well, she is Miss Parker. She has to belittle Brootsie and Sydney every now and then. A code to live by. I think Miss Parker has a softer soul than what she reveals. I think she is sympathetic to animals, children, the elderly. She certainly didn't grab Nia by the hair when she met her (not on my dvds anyway). I think the little girl inside reveals herself more often than Parker would like her to, betrays the face she prefers to show the world. I'm glad you like this chapter.
