Oh . My... God... Mirage Mirage! I wish I knew a real name to call you by but Mirage is good too. Imma gonna second what Twisted said. I know you don't want us to say negative things about Craig and Steve... and I don't want to piss you off. Twisted is braver than I am so refer back to that review again. You need to be writing the official novels. Until you are I will keep considering your writing the official Pretender story. The clarity you write with and our ability to flesh out the characters...yeah, honey you've gone and outdone the creators. Keep writing please. I totally honesty love your writing style and stories even the more graphic ones. I am worried about Miss Parker... she's not dead is she? Oh god more please?!!
Please don't speak that way about those men. Please. There are many things I should be doing or need to be doing but what I'm actually doing here is writing fan fic and it's not official and most of the time I revolve my eyes at what I've written and then shrug and publish it anyway. It is what it is. I don't believe I've outdone anyone. I'm not competing with anyone (except myself). I'm glad you're liking this but let's be realistic. Okay? Moving on. I thought Jarod was going to be the hero in A hero's heart and then I thought Kyle but now I see that it's Miss P! She's the one that rescue those girls getting herself in more danger and then being tortured ...i hope not raped.. but yeah, they are traffickers so she probably was if you're being honest.. He is rightfully conflicted but while Parker is committing crimes she is helping. You surprised me with this one. I can't believe how many people don't know or care about Yemen. Don't leave us hanging.

This is awesome. Your characters are always in character, your plots are plausible and original. But Boo hoo! Jarod went off and got married! How could you? Is Jarod really married? I was tempted to give you a low rating for that lol but it's so well written. If it's Zoe, I hope Miss Elaine (mp) kills her. Pleaseee give us more.
Hi, Christoph, yes Jarod is married, and no, he's not married to Miss Parker and it was actually very easy to write. I had someone else in mind for Jarod but seeing as how everyone is bashing Zoe, I might just- haha. No, it's not Zoe. I have no issues with her and I certainly don't want her dead. That stated, I've written a Zoe/Jarod entanglement already (circles, forces) and I've given her a happy ending (forces). I want this to be a bit different. More is in the works. Reviewer: Christoph Signed That was a hot scene, Mirage. A smut biscuit. It was smokin but they didn't even have sex. Okay so I love his grunts. He is a grunty guy!! I didn't notice until watching the IOTH for the billionth time but yeah, he's a grunter, and no other writer has really brought him out and written him in character, not the way you do.
Gotta say I LOVE Parker's reaction when she missed him with the lamp. lol It shows that she really wanted him to go away. Your words just come off the page and are very illustrative. You should offer your services to Steve and Craig. This is a once in a lifetime deal and you are letting it pass. Why? Please please please please update soon.

I'm so filled with joy that they "chisled out some common ground" and I love how you explained their relationship and used the earth to do it. Julian and Ethan were hilarous. Charles Fletcher's teasing was so funny and Jarod squirming is something I know you enjoyed writing. Maggie is a trip too. Have to say I had a duhh moment when I realized that the secret garden is more than a hidden secret place but it's also where they share their secrets with each other!!!!

Like they planted their secrets there. OMG I love that. I love that the Part II: Chaotic Sanctuary is also (please tell me if I get it wrong) talking about Jarod and MP's relationship. Their relationship is their chaotic sanctuary and not just talking about the garden. Double meanings in everything just like the show would sometimes have. I love that Cate is an artist. Are you an artist? You seem to know stuff that an artist would know. Impasto. I had to google that lol. I love that I learn something new in every chapter. I love love love love that Cate drew her own interpretations of C. S. Carroll's book! I love you for mentioning that parents who love their children read to them. You broke my heart with Wade I have to say. But so did Steve and Craig when they never mentioned him again and so I think Wade would be dead. I'm glad he lived life to the fullest and I love how Jarod leaned in to reason with her. He has such a presence! Your chapters are like watching an episode, very fleshy and everything pops off the page. That last line was like perfect wrapping for this gift. MP is afraid that something will happen to Cate. She's scared of losing people and that's why she pushes everyone away. Thank you for writing Mirage and thank you for sharing with us.

That's no problem for me I want you to know. Yes all Pretender fiction should remind me of THe Pretender I own laser disc because they are the same fandom lol! It's a good thing.
I hope they never leave Camelot unless they do so together. They are a family already and I like that Maggie came around. It's like she realized what Jarod already knew about Parker being as much a prisoner of Jarod even though she was the chairwoman. It was great that MP had Broots looking into old files and making changings. Gutting the machine as Jarod said.
The surprising thing here is that Broots was recruited into DIA. Jarod is just a consultant? So he doesn't have control of the situation like in Nemesis? Do I have that right? He's not wanting to go to war because he has a daughter but also the federal agencies wouldn't allow him to get involved I don't think.
That's probably why he told her to STOP because of all that and why Xander couldn't come. It's not up to Jarod. He can only try to pull strings as MP said here. OH I love this series you are writing. I think Jarod was mostly upset because of the caution in MPs voice when he wanted to walk MP and his daughter back to their villa.
Mp has got to realize that that is his child too and he gets to tuck her in but I think her feelings for him and yes she does have some right? I think those and Ethan's warning make her wary but she can't push Jarod out of her life because there is Cate and we know how Jarod is about blood relation. This is brilliant and complex but you still make it easy to read it and it goes so fast. I want more and more. Please don't ever stop writing for us Mirage.
Ha, yes, I agree, Christoph. There will be some similiarities to The Pretender. If not, then it's not the Pretender. Well, I'm afraid they will soon be departing the villa and I can't tell you with certainly if they'll all be together.
Maggie certainly took her time; I had hoped she wouldn't be wholly beyond reason. You are correct: Jarod isn't in control, he doesn't have an army of men at his command, he is not calling the shots. He merely consulted which means provided some assistance. And yes, the govt. will not allow civilian involvement and yes, why would a man who just rescused a daughter (who needs him) go off to do battle? (it doesn't matter anyway; the govt. won't budge).
And yes, again, he was simply attempting to relieve her aching back (he wanted to tuck his child in anyway/ two birds, one stone) and MP was feeling chastened by Ethan. And again, you are correct that Parker will not be able to push Jarod out of her life, not now, not ever, because they do indeed have a child. It doesn't necessarily mean that they will be "together", however, Jarod will always be in her life in some way. Don't worry: I can't stop writing. I've tried. I've failed. I love all the ways you string things together and no other author does it as well. As a die hard Jarod/Parker shipper, you make my heart thump a little faster. I read your stories for the quality of writing, entertainment and plausibilty and I try no to expect romance or Jarod/Parker smut... ohhhhhh but Mirage when you dazzle me with precious moments between Jarod and Parker it is so special. You aren't a Jarod/Parker shipper but you are still my favorite Jarod/Parker shipper author...if that makes sense. You should be writing the Pretender novels. I won't buy them until you are writing them. Please don't make us wait to long for more.

I have no opinion of it; I just write and try not to think about it too much. Well, that's truly sweet. I never intended to sail the NS Parker-Jarod, or any other ship. I prefer the SS Parker-Thomas, however- I don't know. Shipping always has to involve sex for some reason, and I'm a bit inept and always feel that I fall short in sex/smut writing.
