For Lesser Pretender, I made the concept much more basic and finished it. (I deleted several chapters that created new strings, and added new chapters toward the end.) It seems to be a happier piece now that I'm proud of. The other concepts involved in it would have made it much larger, and I like the slimming down of it actually. It seems more fit this way.

I might use the other concept in another fanfiction one day. One without all the baggage of this fic following it.

While this does make it less likely it will gather the same audience numbers, by containing/withholding, and then just putting it all out at once? I will just be happy that I can continue to write and share. This is the best way for me in my life right now. :)

Title: Chapter 12: Recompense

I absolutely loved this! I really did.:) I can't wait to come back and read more. All the characters feel very spot on. I didn't jump to this story right away because by the summary, I thought it would be a Raines/Kyle centered story with Jarod long since dead and having no parts in it.

Instead I opened paradise. The use of the vocabulary and clear detailing really made this a fantastic read. You captured the characters extremely well, and as soon as Jarod took her from the Centre, I was hooked. This is a new and interesting world you've painted up in here. Keep splashing.

Author's Response:

Hi, Serenaspacey. Thank you for reading and the extremely generous review. You're so kind. Also: I see you've posted a fic (I'm not ignoring) and I look forward to reading and reviewing it when I'm not completely swamped. Welcome to the fandomly.
