Holding Onto You



She could never keep those she loved.

Her mother - the centre of her world. Jarod - the light in her childhood darkness. Faith - her first girl friend. Tommy - the second chance she thought she would never have. Her father and his empty promises.

So when he comes to her with a promise and all she has to do is trust him. She hesitates. For just one moment. Then she grasps his hand and smiles.

Maybe she can’t keep him forever, but what was it they say? Nothing lasts forever.

And almost forever sounds like a long enough time for her anyway.
