When the walls creep into to choke you,
Have faith there are others in the fight too.
Escape from those who would kill,
We know you have the strength and will.
Like a ghost or an angel in the night,
You stand up and do what’s right.
The Pez dispensers are for your sweet tooth,
And the red notebook holds within it the truth.
Your phone is a link to the past,
So they wait until you call at last.
Despite the anger, you like to play the game,
And with you humor, it’s never really the same.
They cause you nothing but pain,
With all this, we thought you would go insane,
Yet somehow with your genius mind,
You remain gentle and forever kind.
First his work and now his pride,
You know by his council, he’s on your side.
She hunts you, yet you care.
The two of you make quite a pair.
You wrestle with the demons in your sleep,
Or lying awake and alone you weep.
Maybe you don’t know where you’ll stay,
But somewhere out there, you’ll find your way.
