There Are Slashers Among Us

Challenge: Re-write the tP opening sequence, which goes like this:
There are Pretenders among us.
"I was taken from my family."
"36 hours and he has already demonstrated more talent than any of our others."
"How many people died because of why I thought up?"
"Since I broke out, I`ve spent every minute searching for my past."
"He's a pretender. He can become anyone he wants to be."
"The Centre wants him alive."
"Preferably."
"He protects the weak and abused."
"Life is a gift."
"Are you a doctor?"
"I am today."
This is what I came up with...
“There are slashers among us.”
"I was taken from the gen readers."
"3 years and she has still not decided to tell her parents what a slasher is."
"How many people got laid because of what I thought up?"
"Since I found out, I spent a lot of minutes searching for new Slash."
"She's a slasher. She can slash anyone she wants to slash."
"She wants the pairings stay alive."
"Preferably."
"She slashes them till they are weak and abused."
"Good slash is a gift."
"Are you a slasher?"
*cough* "I admit it today."
End.
