Author's note : The idea came watching one of Pretender55's musicvideos. That's were the chaptertitles come from, so they belong to her...

Now there's no doubt about it...

...twin Brother. She had a twin. Of course, she'd known it for 3 years now. She still had to deal with it each day. Sometimes when she closed her eyes, she could imagine him. Sometimes she dreamt of him. Never the way you think.

Hey sis! Leaving already ?

What are you doing here, Lyle ?

Call it Fate. Or Irony. Maybe she deserved it. Him.Maybe they weren't that different. Maybe she was worse. At least she knew exactly what he wanted. She saw it each night, right berfore leaving the Centre, when he came to kiss her goodbye.

Why... Am I not allowed to wish my dearest a good night ?

I don't have good nights, Lyle.

That was his knew game. Walking into her office, with a sick smile on his lips, a disgusting glare in his eyes. Perhaps she was paranoïd, but she still had the feeling that each night, he kissed her more and more closer.

Since when ?

Since you entered my nightmares...
He isn't her enemy... by taniapretender
He isn't her enemy...

...if only she knew. How he felt. How happy they could be together. Parkers are strong. And together, they could be invicible.

Look at your past, Parker, and tell me what you see.

This isn't exactly the best moment for sibling confidences...

Of course, she knew little about him. Only what he let her know. He never defended himself when she attackted him, verbaly or physically. He let her believe everything she read, everything Jarod told her.

Please answer my question.

Emptiness.. Why ?

Anything to see that look she gave him. He loved this disgust on her face. Maybe it was his way to reject her. To protect her from the devil he'd become.

Thought so...
He's just her brother and he needs her help... by taniapretender
He's just her brother and he needs her help...

...As a kid, Miss Parker used to dream about a brother. Or a sister. Just someone to care for, other than her parents. When she met Jarod, she thought she'd found the brother she so desperatly wanted. But then siblings don't kiss eachother, do they ?

What is it you want ?

You to help me...

When her mother died, when her father burried his pain away (or so she tought ) at work, when she was sent to boarding school, she forgot all about her childwish. It was her, against the world. Nobody could ever have shared her pain. Nobody would ever have understood...

Afraid of losing your head, little brother?

I already lost it a long time ago, you know...
But she can't help a monster by taniapretender
But she can't help a monster ...

Blood.

Pain.

Sweat.

Rage.

Blood on his hands. Pain in his bones. Sweat on his skin. Rage in his veins. What was he looking for ? Power ? Relief ? He was willing to do anything it took to feel better. To make the voices go away. He hadn't tried everything yet. Couldn't. Wouldn't. He had thought about killing himself. But then again, he was a survivor. He couldn't just let go. He had to fight. After all, he was a Parker.

Don't tell me you feel remorse, Lyle.

Why ? Because you wouldn't believe me ?

As a teenager, he though he was going crazy. That this thing inside was eating him alive, whatever the hell it was. He couldn't talk to his mother, wouldn't talk to his father. Was afraid to speak in front of Mr. Raines. It all began when he came into his life anyway.

Exactly.

Maybe because even you can't feel any ?
