Oh! All the Pretender feels with this one on this sad day. You're an amazing author and I'm thankful to read you. It's a tough day today. I learned that Lenny Von Dolhen who played our Mr. Cox obgyn has passed away. Hate to be a bearer of bad tidings. I know you loved the man and he was a compassionate liberal man. This is just something I scribbled- like everything else I scribble. The episode was complete, and I don't consider this a missing piece. I don't consider anything I scribble to be a --oooooh missing piece. I don't think I'll ever achieve that level of narcissism. I suppose this is more readable than eighty percent of my scribblings (in my opinion) but that isn't saying much. Thank you for reading and reviewing.
Oh, and I like both master and mistress. Depends on my mood, really.

Oh, holy mother of the wows I do so love this so very very much. This is the short, sweet, happy wow goodness feels I've been needing desperately. For decades I've wanted Jarod to just totally not pull the drowning rapist's face out of the water. I thought I'd even have to learn to be an author and write him like changing his mind in a missing scene and pushing that head back under the water again lol. You thought outside the box and ooh you are so clever to use simple medical science to intervene, and with Jarod far away from the scene and the baddie in jail already no one can say Jarod committed murder. Justified homicide. Except Melissa who is feeling good about the death. What an empowering act for Melissa to get to destroy evidence that would have definitely implicated Jarod. This assuming that without putting money into an investigation of the death the examiner or coroner or whoever would just say he died from something else. I searched symptoms of aspiration drowning after the near drowning and heart attack or lung infection have some of the same symptoms. This is so plausible and clever, and I love it. Thank you sweet author!

Risque Business always seemed incomplete to me. They say goodbye and later at the end of the walk Jarod turned to look at her again as if he knew something was unfinished. I'm glad this rapist is dead and Melissa never has to lock herself in her house, herself, or a bottle again. Every rapist deserves to end this painfully and with Jarod not there at time of death and rapist in police custody and the evidence destroyed this is the perfect murder. This is so different and almost darker than anything else you've written because it's so subtle and haunting...and it is peacefully haunting ..hard for me to explain. It's really outstanding and my new favorite story. Thank you as always Mirage.
