Can't believe I've never reviewed this story.

i loved it so much, KS, it was sweet and genuine. I always love to see happy endings between MP and J, we all know they do deserve it! And so do we! 

This final chapter was spontaneous and lovely, thanks for the story!

I see exactly which fic inspired you (I love Mandy's work but can't find them anymore on the internet...) and it's great that you wrote your own ''marshmallow'' version (it is meant as a compliment!)

I think it is important that you keep your own style: if you feel like writing fluffy romance, just do it! I personnally love dark fics but it is also good to read light heart-warming fanfics which are not depressing!And it puts me back into MPJ mode! So keep up the good work. (as for short chapters, I'd rather read a completed short fic than the numerous ones I loved but after hours of reading you realized it wasn't finished and never would be!)

Thank you for taking the time to read and review.  I'm so glad that even fluffy romances are enjoyed.  I'm probably going to write more MPJ with romance and such, but also smut!  =)  I just wanted a short simple one to test the waters so to speak.

I just recently found this site and have spent many hours reading and re-reading fanfics.  I like your story very much.  I, too, was and is a BIG fan of the Miss Parker character.  I definitely share your point of view.  I have written some stories and they are also light and a bit mushy sometimes.  I just cannot write angst and I suck at writing massive amounts of details and complicated plots.  Your writing style is my cup of tea and since you write Miss P. the same way I would, you are more than okay in my book :).  I'm pleasantly surprised that there are still Pretender fans out there writing fanfics.  JMP forever!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and review.  I only found this site at the beginning of last year and was amazed at all the talented writers there were and are still out there.  And yes, considering that the Pretender has been off the air since 2001, it is amazing that there are still fans out there that are writing.  

Thanks for the encouragement and I will definitely be writing another fic.  I believe it will be several short fics that will rely on each other. . .

What do I think? I think you are doing a fine job and I hope and suggest you continue writing the story. Your way. As for a kick-*** MP? Well, Andrea herself said (in an interview) that we've seen "more vulnerability" over the years; we've seen her cry, shoot people, get sloshed, meltdown- it all depends on what life throws her. I find that your jeans and sweater Miss Parker works quite nicely- that's the great thing about writing this fandom: Parker can be tough, yes, but we know the walls can fall down.

Is there anything that would make the fic more interesting? I think it is interesting as-is. Besides, interesting is all a matter of opinion anyway. Go with your gut.

OMG!  Mirage!  I am so not worthy!  Thank you for leaving a review!  I have been a long time admirer of your writing and stories (dark as some of them can be) often times reading with my eyes hiding behind my hands!  But I'm glad you see the potential in my writing.  I tend to be a pollyanna-esque writer.  So most of my stories will be sappy and syrupy with a kick-a** MP and less whiney!Jarod.  

This fic was my first effort so I wanted to test the waters a bit to see what would happen.  I never know what the fandom wants because it has not been as active as it once was.  And I agree that interesting is a matter of opinion for sure.  But I am one of those needy people that need to know that people like my fic *sad begging eyes*.  

But again, thank you so much!  I will definitely keep writing.  Now I just have to split time between two fandoms.

Thanks!  This fic is mostly romance and it certainly won't be thick into fall of the centre plot.  I also tend to write happy fics because I'm too much of a chicken to write angst and the darker fics.  I am a big fan of Ginger and Phenyx and will probably pattern most of my fics to theirs.

I love the idea that Parker was working with the CIA for 5 years and no one knew. Not even Saint Jarod. I'm interested in how farther this story goes. Please keep writing.

Thanks so much for reviewing!  I'm glad you are intrigued.  I do so love a strong MP, and she's worked with the FBI in this one.  I have another one where she works for the CIA.  

And this story will be finished.  It won't be long and won't involve anything more than how Jarod and Parker feel about each other (read: not a whole lot of Centre lore) so it will mainly be drama/romance.

I liek the idea of Parker taking down the Centre. But then, I like the idea of Parker taking any action without being prompted by Jarod.

I'm a big fan of Miss Parker more than I am of Jarod.  So most of my fics, if I continue to write more, will have a ver strong Miss Parker.  I see her as soft on the inside and kick-ass on the outside.
