Title: The Missing Piece (Part III)

Woot! Top notch top quality. It's always such a pleasure to read you Mirage. You know and write these characters exceptionally well. I can't even honey! I'm glad Jarod didn't get jealous and that Parker didn't get jealous. They are mature and no one said anything about monogamy. He seemed more worried than jealous and she has always been defensive when people pry. I love this story and the care you give in your writing. Congrats on a beautiful chapter. Please update soon.

Title: The Missing Piece (Part II)

Incredible that you're updating this so much. I read this new chapter and realized sex had happened and was like oh wow missed some stuff. The BEST stuff ever. Mirage this is awesome and just when I thought Forces of Nature would be my favorite story ever you knocked it out with Circles of Hell and Nemesis. Now this one might be the best. I love that I can't choose and want more from you. Crazy right? More of this please? it's pretender perfect.

Title: The Missing Piece (Part II)

Oh man I'm loving this chapter in particular. Parker is in one of her better moods and the humor is a little dry but spot on for her and the circumstances. Jarod's about to explain that he wasn't intending to have sex and her response was funny and accurate. But she wouldn't be Parker if that mood didn't swing quickly when things take a direction she doesn't choose. But she didn't bite his head off at least and still kept the tone civil. What Jarod did for her makes me love him more. Killing those men was necessary for her survival and he couldn't do anything to hurt her survival. I love that she's the hero of this tale and that she tells him she could terminate her own pregnancy if it had come to that. I know you love MP hell everyone does...or should anyway. They are so in character. I can see them. SEE Them. I know I will never see them in another televisde episode of the Pretender. To see them when I read your work means everything to me. Thank you for sharing and updating regularly.

Title: The Missing Piece (Part II)

Ahhh Mirage. You can write them so perfect together and Jarod so tender with Parker. I wish you would do it more often. Miss Parker would be dismissive of Jarod's concern being who she is and what she has become. You kept her stoic, cynical and humourous just as I remember from my dvds. I love how in character they are even this is dark. You're shining a light on human trafficking and possible serial killings plus genocide of an entire country and it is dark.

She and Jarod always seemed like opposite sides of the same coin to me but I'm rethinking that now. Here she's darker than him but with her training would be darker and need to go ahead and take out the garbage. No chance of repeat offending that way. Miss Parker has always kicked ass and this Miss Parker is what the world needs right now. I see that this isn't marked completed so I hold out hoping there will be a happy ending for Jarod and Parker. They deserve it and they love each other. I wanted to mention Rachel's files too.. that was exceptionally written and so FBI profiler-ish lol. You kept her in character too. Guess you're a fan of both shows? Nicely done. I need more. Now.

Can't get enough Mirage. So many feels in this one. I know Jarod's hurting but he does the right thing and sorry not sorry I don't blame Parker. Give the woman a medal already. More please?

Title: The Missing Piece (Part II)

Wow woman you are an amazing writer. I sit here shocked that Jarod let Parker go and we know how much he's hurting. The wrong/right paradox is similar to Jarod's. He is rightfully conflicted but while Parker is committing crimes she is helping. You surprised me with this one. I can't believe how many people don't know or care about Yemen. Don't leave us hanging.

I need more of this now young lady!! Jarod never really did believe Rachel's prolifing so that is another realistic touch. Plausible all the way. Those final moments were heartwrenching Mirage. Loving this. Keep it going. I need more.

Title: The Missing Piece

I know you aren't a Jarod and Parker shipper but OH MY FREAKING GOD! This chapter title is The Missing Piece and the first chapter title is The Missing Piece. I thought Jarod was going to be the hero in A hero's heart and then I thought Kyle but now I see that it's Miss P! She's the one that rescue those girls getting herself in more danger and then being tortured ...i hope not raped.. but yeah, they are traffickers so she probably was if you're being honest.. I love that they made love and I love that she made the first move. Thank you. Thank you. Thanksgiving is early. I'm thankful for you Mirage.

Title: The Missing Piece

Unexpected gifts from you.. You wrote two new chapters and an important scene. I knew you could do it. I didn't think you would do it but you have and you wrote Jarod and Parker's lovemaking very naturally.

I know you're opposed to the ship and you probably swore like a sailor the entire time you were writing this but I think you're listening to your muse and I hope you'll continue to do that. You seem comfortable writing erotica so that's probably helpful. You let it all happen naturally and I think Jarod must have realized that Parker needed this.. after fearing for her life I think they both needed the release.

This was beautiful and tragic. You know you can't end it here. It isn't marked complete and I hope that wasn't accidental on your part because it doesn't feel complete.

The scar means that Parker was slice essentially from head to toe? Is that true? We must know about the torture and other scars. I'm also curious. Was there foreshadowing during Jarod's thoughts about packing the lamiaria?

Because in an earlier chapter we learned that one of the traffickers was a paroled rapist. You've never cheated us on the details and I hope you won't start now. I'm relieved that all of the children were recovered and are safe and were unharmed. I'd like to see how Miss Parker on a witness stand plays out and how many attorneys she will beat up. Until next time Mirage... Ciao!

Title: Gone (Part IX)

Holy freaking wonderballs I love this Mirage. You are a literary magician and wordsmith. I love this. LOVe that Parker kicks ass. BUt I'm concerned she's dead now. Like Jarod said... she pissed them off.

Please don't let her be dead. And if you could format all of the chapters for all the fics the way you're doing with the new fics and updates.. because the 'centre use only' is kind of freaking things up.

Author's Response:

She did piss them off. I've just udpated and I hope you're not entirely displeased. I'll have a look at the format in a moment. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Dark One.

Another great chapter in this story!

Always a pleasure to have an update!

Thanks as always for keeping Miss Parker and Jarod and company alive and well!

"She kicked their asses" THAT should surprise nobody about Miss Parker!

I can't wait (but sadly have to) to read more!

Author's Response:

Of course Parker is going to kick ass. I'm sorry about the wait. I was certain I'd posted the new chapter on the same day as this one that you're reviewing. It's up now, however. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, Twisted.

Title: Gone (Part IX)

OMG. If Miss Parker is dead I swear to god.... I'm going to read this anyway but I will be really upset. Other than that bit of anxiousness I love this story. It's pretender perfect like everything you share with us and well written and ahhhh I love it. I love it. Your original characters are epic. Takahashi has that weird humor but seems well intentioned. I love the dynamic between Jarod and his mother and that she sits him down when he became smug and angry with her. I think her words helped him see things from her perspective, as a mother. He hasn't always had someone hovering in concern or mothering him. I also like that she didn't really interact with Sydney or Broots.. that was realistic.. except for some unseen scene where she apparently coerces the Centre figures to withhold the full truth from Jarod. It's perfect. All of the blood talk was spot on too.. I can confirm. Thank you for sharing your mad skills with us.

You were missed. It's nice to have you back here again. I am curious. If the stain isn't blood or rust what is it? Lipstick? Amazing descriptive work her and plausible motivation for Eliot to want to protect Jarod. I love the details you inject and your style and writing is top notch as always, Mirage. Until next time...

Title: Gone (Part VIII)

Thrilling excitement and attention to two things that need it. Human trafficking and the environment and what happens when one gets in the way of the other. I like the way you draw attention without being too overt. Well done. I think of your other story which I'm read and will be reviewing in a moment and then I think of all of your stories and most of them contain serious issues and it seems that you are using Jarod and Miss Parker and these characters we love to make a point. It's not just get fan tongue wagging drooling excitement but there is something deeper. You are educating in a round about way so it won't be dull. Amazing. I should have seen this before. Keep doing what you're doing. I love it.

Author's Response:

I agree that more attention needs be focused on human trafficking and this planet. I think we've dropped the ball on both and will continue to. It is plausible that Parker and Jarod are being used to draw attention to the important issues. I've never exactly contemplated my motives. I'm glad you're liking it. Title: Gone (Part VIII)

Oh Mirage. First, I have to say thank you for that response to my review. I am going to talk to someone, taking your advice. I remember Bush was an awful potus but he didn't brag about raping women and then get elected... or mock a disabled person.. and he wasn't a reality tv star or failed business-con man. I'm not handling this well at all. I don't feel at home in my own home any more. I will keep fighting and... wow thank you for caring enough to tell me what I need to hear. I turned a review into a cry for help counseling session. It really is good therapy to read too tho ...just saying. This chapter like all of them is brilliant. Stay sweet Mirage and keep being you and please keep writing.

Author's Response:

There is a bit of good news now (in recent days); I hope that has lessened some of the anxieties. Regarding the "awful potus": his awfulness isn't nullified simply because someone else is more overtly abominable and imbecilic. We don't wipe a criminal's record clean and release them from prison simply because a more recent criminal has ambled along and is far more violent. We must remember history. It's tragic to see it repeated this way.

Please keep fighting. Continue. ; Always keep fighting. And know that you're not alone. There are groups. There are still decent people (you have to look closely to find them sometimes) in the world. I'm relieved that you've made the decision to take care of your mental health; I'm proud of you, Chloe.

I agree that reading is good therapy. I hear writing is good therapy, too.

Take care of yourself.

I was too stoked to log in. Can I get more of this please? So much to love here. Your characterisations are always spot on. The dialouge is brilliant. The writing is solid and good. Nothing seems forced. The story doesn't lag. It's intelligently written. The writing is mature. It's plausible. The reactions are perfect. The descriptive work is fantastic. This isn't fan fic.
