I have to say it. I didn't foresee this twist Mirage. But it works. Jarod's brother and Miss Parker are uniquely and similarly broken.
Well written. Please tell me you aren't a young kid. Those songs are so youthful. You write intimate scenes brilliantly. I don't go in for that kind of thing but this is tastefully done.

lol Kyle uses the same slang word as Miss Parker used in The Return fic you are writing. Awesome insight into Kyle's early life and his pain, and his feelings. I love the snapshot and details of how it was that morning Jarod was kidnaped. You really know how to write. I love those 2 and somehow you made it work and convinced me. Please write more. I love the fitting title and songs used. throbbing toothache of the mind' and I think it is 'dark inside' Kyle and Miss Parker. Inside Jarod too you think so don't you?!! It is wonderful. I love the body shots but I wish Miss Parker wouldn't have sex with Kyle and I wish Jarod wouldn't have sex with Rachel. :( Your writing is great as alway. :)

"Throbbing toothache of the mind"- I've been touched with that emotion haha. I think you're right. In fact, I think everyone possesses a measure of darkness at some point. The Pretender characters all have a bit of darkness. I believe the darkness is Jarod's playground- I must confess: I love a few of the takedown scenes; I've found myself longing, however, for Jarod to finish the monsters off. Ah, a woman can dream. I was rather proud of him for killing Damon. Now, now. Jarod was having sex with Rachel (and Nia and Zoe) well before I began writing fanfic, and Miss Parker had sex with Michael and Thomas (Jarod's getting more action than our divine lady of ice? Making up for lost time, I suppose.). Miss Parker and Jarod never had sex (with each other) during the series, so please understand why I'm always reluctant to take them there. Don't worry: the Muse is already planning to take them there (no matter how I protest). Haha. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Christoph.

Oh, NO! You did NOT just go there. I didn't see that one coming. I must be more of a Jarod/Miss Parker shipper then I thought because I'm appalled at the idea of Kyle and Parker. Without really understanding why. It would be easier (possibly) if I didn't picture the actors in my mind when I read this.
Anyway, great chapter. Can't wait to find out what DID happen next. Jarod has no right to 'sort it out'. At least until he gets rid if Rachel and admits how he feels. Of course, Miss Parker has the same problem.
As ever, thanks for writing! At some point maybe you would consider writing THE ending to the TV show. I don't think Steven and Craig ever will and at thus point I'd really rather read yours!

Am I? I don't know. Admittedly, I haven't read every single fic here (I think I'm up to six hundred and some odd number)- although I wish time would allow me to. Oh, the look on Jarod's face- I've already written that actually. He manages quite nicely. He's an adult, he and Parker aren't an item. If he's upset or miffed in the least it's for other reasons (and maybe only a teeny measure of jealousy). I'm trying not to leave anyone hanging which is why I alternate the stories, updating the fic that's gone longest without an update first. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Miss Shannon.
