This was so much the cautionary tale of doublecrossing Jarod even if Miss Parker didn't have terrible intentions. You must have been considering this for some long while Mirage. If Jarod had ever wanted to hurt her he needed only to walk in and do so. He can be anything and anyone and this illustrates that and slams an exclamation mark behind it. She thought she was going to die at Raines's hands and learns that Jarod is the one in control. The way you describe how Miss Parker can't remember the question she asked when Jarod answers her is magnificent.

Forgot to mention how much I give you props for Kyle's storyline. It's plausible. More plausible than anyone being able to harvest a heart from a corpse that hasn't been on ice or kept on a machine. The transplant would have a better chance of success that way. I guess it made for good tv if no one knew any better.
I didn't know what a columbian necktie was and had to google it the first time I read this. It's a method of execution and it's so funny that Miss Parker was considering do that to Raines.
But it wasn't Raines. It's so shocking who arrives at the Centre. She forgot the question. She FORGOT her own freaking question. LOVE!

Wow! I wondered how Jarod would react to MP's flight of fancy..he did so by making a real flight of his own....all the way to Blue Cove. I'm guessing his flight won't be a flight of fancy tho? Kyle was perfect, you have a grasp of all the characters, their expressions, the Centre, the interrelationships..the whole bag. Kudos for the Dr. Isshii mention. He was worse than Mengela and doesn't get much mention. Raines is in the ranks with Ish. This is riveting as always. Welcome back and update soon please. :)

I haven't deluded myself into believing that I'm a "writer", a bonafide honest-to-God writer. It's fanfic- that thing I sometimes do when I can't sleep. I'd loved to have the time to devote to serious writing, however. One day. Aww, thank you for all the warm words. Holy Jo! And I said something else and not jo when I read this earlier. Jarod is in the Centre! My jaw dropped open. OMG! Is he going to be like giving orders to MP now or what? Thank YOU for setting the record straight on transplants, it redeemed that episode for me and makes it all make sense. OMG don't ever stop writing!! The Kyle parts were excellent, he's just like I remember. I love all of the new sci fi gadgets...the Centre and a genius would use hi tech devices so it makes all more believable. More, please?!!
