What stands out is how well Sydney and Miss Parker pick up the cues and play off each other. He had her back before when he was blinded and they are dear friends and confidants. Miss Parker has that same interplay with Jarod in later chapters where they interpret silently. You leave us again with a massive cliff hanger that I found surprising. I heard you weren't a shipper. I'm glad you're not but I appreciate this understanding you have of the direction the series was taking and that you realize the connection shared by Jarod and Miss Parker and don't allow your own feelings prevent what seems natural when you write it.

I love the Eagles so I love that song and I love how it's applied here and think that Jarod should was wrong to walk away tho I understand what his reasons might be. I'm still stunned by the kiss and this isn't my first time reading. Just wow!

I love her silent treatment, Jarod earned it. And I love that kiss. Most authors lose my interest after chapter one but you piqued mine and kept the tension. Exceptionally done.

Damn! That was totally HOT! I love how you write Miss Parker! She is so lethal. Jarod totally deserved that but at the same time he seems to have left FOR her.
Bring on more fighting! :-) As well as smut! It's a credit to your obvious talents that no one has done a 'Red Rock Jarod' sequal. Why wouldn't the Centre have been interested in JR?

Loved Jarod's introspection and Parker's unusual silence. And I can't tell you the enjoyment of how Parker goes all hot and heavy (albeit dirty) on Jarod one second and then just stops, and walks away LIKE A BOSS! Can't wait to see where this all leads.

MMM-mmmm a nice and dirty kiss, both of them unshowered! This is very raw and intense and yummy! Jarod's internal dialouge is so very typical of him and Miss Parker's ice is always a plus. You always bring the characters off the page and give them life. I enjoy the dark fics, Jarod breaking Parker and the struggle to rebuild and forgive, but I'm hooked on this already! It's nice to see Jarod get his ass schooled on kissing by Miss Parker. More, please?
