It appears that the last sentence of the first paragraph has been truncated ("almost killed- " who?), but aside from that, I really enjoyed the Kyle/Jarod interaction. It's not a stretch at all for my mind to believe that Kyle is alive and well and living in Miami (and helping people just like big brother).

I love the idea of a secret communication between Kyle and Jarod via winks, etc. and also your explanation of the punch, which is plausible because Kyle aka Weston hits his own mother in an earlier episode for the same reason. Oh, I've wanted to see a Burn Notice / Pretender cross over for so long and even entertained the idea of writing one but you've done a much better job here than I ever could have so congratulations on a job well done and thank you for sharing.
