So, Parker's working with (thus far): broken or bruised ribs (based on Alex's kicks last chapter), head injury/concussion, facial and wrist lacerations, and she's weak and hungry. And we're not done yet, I can tell! I can't wait to see what you do to her next! That's only because I know (hope!) even though she may get banged up, MP is an incredibly strong character, and can survive what's thrown at her.
I forgot about Angelo, of course he'd be having a reaction to her situation. I'm not sure how I like Louisa though; what does Alex mean by 'new players' I wonder...hmm..
Very interested to hear what the secrets surrounding MP are, and looking forward to more! :)

Oooh, great update! I love Miss Parker and Jarod whump (so long as there's a happy ending). Had a feeling it might be Alex, but it didn't take anything away from the story. Can't wait to see what else he does to MP, and how Jarod & the gang try to find them. :)

Thank god someone is not a tease! i HATE (ok, that might be a bit strong) people who post stories and it takes MONTHS (if not years and sometimes not at all) to post another chapter or even finish them. You said you had two chapters in the can after finishing chapter one so I'm looking forward to chapter three (as well as all the others). First of all, welcome back, aldysgal. Second, What? What! What do you mean rusty? No you're not. This was wonderfully written, not the first hint of rust anywhere. I love the concern that slips from Parker, very telling. I also love the hints of humor and Parker's sarcarsm, of course. Love that sarcasm. I'm hoping Jarod saves her in time from whoever it is (Alex?). I don't want Parker to die. Ever.
I'm already looking forward to chapter two.

I think this is a great premise, i know there was an amazing serial killer story where parker inadvertently gets caught up in the mess and jarod saves her a few years ago and i am blanking on the author's name- but i think this is even better as this seems to have been pre-planned by someone who knows jarod and parker.
and as a fan of many of your stories, i admire your writing skills and am very eager to read more!

Suspenseful and intriguing, I like it.
There had been many fanfic stories that are good in the beginning but kinda lost the readers as the story goes. I hope this is not one of them.
Still, you had me at at the summary. I would really like to read more and see how the story goes. Also I'm a MPJ fan, so any story that is about them is fine by me.:D
I think Alex is the Collector. or is it Mr Cox?

Uhhh nice one! pretty creepy in between. I like that. The whole idea that Parker might get involved into one of Jarod's pretends sounds pretty realistic to me. Who knows...maybe someone killed all the women on purpose before,only to toy with Jaord and get to Parker in the end? Could be Alex,who knows. ;-)
Like the neverending "what if" story of Jarod's he keeps annoying MissP with.
Also the fact that he is so messed up that he would intentionally lead her to him,because he misses her. haha.truly a Centre's case.;-)
The characters seem very well done from mpov. Like the connection between Parker and J.
And could smash J's head against some wall for not getting that MissP totally fits the victim's profil.
But hey,otherwise there wouldn't be an exciting story to read right?!
