I enjoy the beginning of this story and I hope you finish it.  It might be interesting to explore why Jarod decided to follow her and put himself in danger by living close to her when he normally leaves himself some sort of escape.  Parker is so conflicted with her life, I don't think even a Pretender can figure out what she will do in a particular situation.
