Hilarious! This must've been one of Parker's good days. I can see her temper get to that point and then she'd probably collapse at home and sulk for a little bit, but nontheless smooth for her character's MO.

Ohh that was just sooo cool. I have no trouble picturing that at all, and that damn smile, bastard got what he deserved.

So nice to re-read this story! I forgot what a sense of humour and daring could do to take a short story to a new level. I could picture Miss Parker doing something like this.
